How to Measure your Ring Size
5 (100%) 1 vote

If you want to find out what size ring you need for your finger, and you are unable to have your finger measured by a jeweller, there are two simple ways of doing it yourself.

Option 1

  • Draw a straight line on a piece of paper.
  • Place a ring that fits the finger you want to size on top of the line, with the line running across the centre (i.e. the widest part) of the ring.
  • Mark the line at the inside points of where the ring meets it.
  • Measure the distance (in mm) between the two points along the line.
  • Refer to the table below to get your correct ring size.

Option 2

  • Cut a thin strip of paper.
  • Wrap the paper around your finger. Make sure the paper is below the joint of your finger, and close to your knuckle.
  • Mark the spot where the paper meets.
  • Measure the distance in mm.
  • Refer to the table below to determine your ring size.
